The miCoach SPEED_CELL\u2122, adidas\u2019 latest injection of advanced technology into training, captures an athlete\u2019s 360\u00b0 movement and measures key performance metrics including average speed, maximum speed, number of sprints, total distance, distance at high intensity levels, total steps and stride rates.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nThe miCoach SPEED_CELL\u2122 can be placed directly into the cavity of the adizero F50 soccer cleat, or attached to any training shoe when purchased separately. The device\u2019s internal memory tracks and stores up to seven hours of data and wirelessly transmits performance data to iPhone, iPod touch, MAC or PC.<br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\n<strong>miCoach Soccer for iPhone and iPod touch<\/strong><br \/>\n\u00a0<br \/>\nadidas\u2019 miCoach Soccer app syncs with SPEED_CELL\u2122, collects and visualizes data, and allows athletes to share stats via social media or upload stats to adidas\u2019 interactive online training system, miCoach.com. Data can then be analyzed and compared with friends, followers, and even some of the top soccer players in the world. Athletes can use the stats collected from the pitch to power a virtual avatar featured in the miCoach Soccer mini-game.
