For the first time ever, fans have had a hand in actually creating their comics, as readers got the chance to vote on the look of each of the characters in Aspen\u2019s newest series, \u201cIDOLIZED\u201d, debuting in 2012.\u00a0 Thousands of votes were cast, many of the races were incredibly close, and the winning designs have now all been revealed. In Week Five, the final week of voting, fans had the chance to vote on the designs for TROOPER.\u00a0 Trooper is a former police officer recovering from a nearly-fatal shooting and seeking to prove himself as a true hero despite his lack of powers.\u00a0 Fans certainly didn\u2019t have any lack of certainty as to their favorite look for him, though, as the winning design prevailed in a landslide.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n \u201cWe\u2019re truly thrilled with the incredible amount of attention that this brought to IDOLIZED,\u201d said Aspen President Frank Mastromauro.\u00a0 \u201cIt\u2019s a series that I believe without a doubt readers are absolutely going to love, and I\u2019m so happy that we were able to give our fans a chance to really interact with the series and help have a hand in shaping it.\u201d<\/p>\n And, according to Aspen\u2019s Editor-in-Chief Vince Hernandez, \u201cwe have some even bigger IDOLIZED events happening in the next few weeks.\u00a0 Stay tuned, and, if you haven\u2019t already, make sure to \u201clike\u201d the IDOLIZED page at www.Facebook.com\/IdolizedComic<\/a> in order to hear the news first, before anywhere else.\u201d<\/p>\n \u00a0\u201cIDOLIZED\u201d is Aspen’s first-ever superhero series. \u00a0It tells the story of girl with super-powers and a dark past, who seeks revenge, and ultimately finds redemption, over the course of competing in a televised super-hero competition show. \u00a0Essentially, it\u2019s \u201cTrue Grit\u201d meets \u201cAmerican Idol\u201d\u2026with capes. \u00a0The series is written by David B.
