Lenovo has now surpassed Dell to claim the number two position \u2013 its highest rank ever – in worldwide PC shipments, according to preliminary data released today by International Data Corporation (IDC), a leading global provider of market intelligence for the consumer technology market.<\/p>\n
Following five quarters as the fastest-growing PC maker among the world\u2019s top vendors, the preliminary IDC data reports Lenovo achieving record market share of approximately 13.7% and record quarterly shipment volume of approximately 12.6 million units.<\/p>\n
