Ubisoft Continues Partnership with Sony Pictures Consumer Products\u00a0<\/p>\n
Sydney, Australia \u2013 April 3, 2009 \u2013 Today Ubisoft announced that it will develop and publish a video game based on Columbia Pictures\u2019 and Sony Pictures Animation\u2019s CG film, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Designed for handheld and home gaming consoles, Cloudy with a Chance of MeatballsTM is scheduled for release later this year in conjunction with the November 26th, 2009 release of the feature film.<\/p>\n

The development of Cloudy with a Chance of MeatballsTM video game is the third such collaboration in a successful partnership, with Ubisoft having produced top-selling video games based on Sony Pictures Animation\u2019s $190 worldwide box office hit, Open Season, and Academy Award\u00d2 nominee for Best Animated Feature, Surf\u2019s Up.<\/p>\n

Sony Pictures Animation\u2019s second animated film to be created in stereoscopic 3D, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs will be the most delicious event since macaroni met cheese.\u00a0 Inspired by the beloved children\u2019s book, the film focuses on a town where food falls from the sky like rain.\u00a0 The film features the voices of Bill Hader, Anna Faris, James Caan, Andy Samberg, Bruce Campbell, Mr. T, and Tracy Morgan. The film is written and directed by Chris Miller and Phil Lord, based on the bestselling children\u2019s book written by Judi Barrett and illustrated by Ron Barrett.\u00a0 Pam Marsden is the producer.<\/p>\n
