Sydney, Australia \u2013 August 10 2011 \u2013 <\/strong>Publisher Deep Silver has announced a new co-op trailer for their action packed zombie fest Dead Island<\/em><\/strong>.\u00a0Only teamwork can get the four different protagonists of Dead Island<\/em><\/strong> through the seemingly insurmountable odds and dangers that await them on the zombie infested tropical island of Banoi. Their different skillsets complement each other and give them the ability to oppose the hordes of zombies that await them around every corner of the former holiday paradise.<\/p>\n

Dead Island<\/em><\/strong> offers a seamless co-op experience for up to four players with easy drop-in\/drop-out mechanics throughout the whole game.\u00a0When playing with friends its all about fighting together and watching each others’ back, or…<\/p>\n

Set in an open world tropical island, hordes of different festering zombies await players around every corner while they embark on a variety of thrilling missions through the holiday resort. With firearms and ammunition being scarce the player must rely on discovering and utilising items as weapons for self-defense and fighting off zombie hordes in intense melee combat. A diverse range of items can be collected and will later serve to transform the player\u2019s ordinary makeshift weapons into serious instruments of destruction.<\/p>\n

Dead Island<\/em><\/strong>\u00a0will be released worldwide for the PlayStation\u00ae3 computer entertainment system, the Xbox 360\u00ae video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and Windows PC.<\/p>\n
