MELBOURNE, Victoria. <\/strong>–<\/strong> July 29, 2011 <\/strong>–<\/strong> THQ Inc. today announced new details surrounding the company\u2019s pre-order retail incentive programs in Australia and New Zealand for WWE\u00ae 12<\/em>, the forthcoming release from the renowned WWE flagship videogame franchise.\u00a0 Often touted as \u201cthe most electrifying man in all of entertainment,\u201d legendary WWE Superstar The Rock will be available as a playable character for consumers who pre-order the game at any participating retailer within Australia and New Zealand for the Xbox\u00ae 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft or PlayStation\u00ae3 computer entertainment system (while supplies last). The Rock\u2019s in-game character will resemble his current-day appearance, including a shaved head and new tattoos.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n

WWE <\/em>\u201912 is currently in development for the Xbox 360, PlayStation <\/sup>3 system and Wii, with a scheduled release date of November 24th, 2011 in Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n
