SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA…June 8, 2011<\/p>\n

In another first for the horror flick of 2011, \u201cThe Tunnel\u201d has become the only Australian film to be available for download on the iPad platform.<\/p>\n

Working in partnership with the film distribution platform MoPix, \u201cThe Tunnel\u2019s\u201d innovative iPad application download contains the entire movie, \u201cMeet the Cast\u201d behind the scenes extras, exclusive behind the scenes photo gallery offering never-before-seen images and social media integration.\u00a0<\/p>\n

It is available now via the iPad App Store for $9.99<\/a>. (AUD)<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is an interesting time for \u201cThe Tunnel\u201d \u2013 as well as simultaneous releases via traditional platforms on May 18 2011, we are now utilising a wider breadth of technological advancement and launching the movie on the iPad to deliver a value-added experience to an even greater audience,\u201d said co-producer\/writer, Enzo Tedeschi.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn partnering with MoPix, over 30 million device owners in 91 territories will now be able to take part in \u201cThe Tunnel\u201d\u2019 experience,\u201d said executive producer Ahmed Salama of DLSHS.\u00a0 \u201cThrough social media integration via Facebook and Twitter, our fans will also be able to share their experiences with their friends which is what this project has always been all about.\u201d<\/p>\n

Off the back of its sell-out Popcorn Taxi and festival screenings, \u201cThe Tunnel\u201d will make its way to the big screen, scaring film-goers starting June 8 2001, at 7.30pm for four weeks at Hoyts EQ in Sydney, Australia<\/strong>.<\/p>\n
