Following on from the success of The Test, Health & Happiness in 2009 (which was taken by over 55,000 Australian\u2019s), News Limited and Abundant Media launches \u2018The Test, Happiness & You\u2019 on Sunday May 8th, a free questionnaire designed to gauge the happiness levels of all Australians.<\/p>\n
With the aim of creating Australia\u2019s annual happiness index, the survey delves into what makes us feel fulfilled as individuals exploring all aspects of our lives including Body Health & Happiness; Relationships & Home Life; Social Life & Community and Emotional Happiness \u2013 Mind & Soul.<\/p>\n
In an increasingly hectic world, many of us can feel overwhelmed, overworked and burnt out at the end of each day. So what makes us truly happy? Is it personal success, respect from our peers, a perfect relationship, or more money? Or is it all an individual state of mind?<\/p>\n
The Test, Happiness & You, available at www.thetest.com.au, will uncover if Sydneysiders are happier than Melburnians, whether city folk are less fulfilled than rural people, and what effect world events are having on all of us, and our outlook for the future.<\/p>\n
An exciting and dynamic team of Australia\u2019s leading experts will provide online guidance and feedback for all participants of The Test. Fronted by experienced psychologist, Nicki Isaacs, the diverse team includes a naturopath, an environmentalist, a professional coach, psychologists, a dietician, allied health care specialists, and a fitness expert.<\/p>\n
Ambassador for The Test, Giaan Rooney, is excited about the interest the project has already generated. \u201cHappiness is a very personal state of mind, what makes one person exuberant is not necessarily going to have the same effect on another. One thing we do know, however, is that your health is directly linked to your happiness levels.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cThat\u2019s why we have a big focus on health in The Test with our aim to expose Australians to a whole range of health and wellbeing alternatives. We understand that people often don\u2019t have the time or money to investigate the range of wellbeing experts and therapies available, which is why we have created a \u2018one stop wellbeing centre\u2019 on The Test website. Our great hope is to educate people on prevention, rather than cure for lifelong health and happiness.\u201d<\/p>\n
The woman behind the questions, Nicki Isaacs has a passion for getting people on the path to happiness. \u201cHappiness means different things for different people\u2026 For some people, it\u2019s about feeling calm and tranquil. Others show they\u2019re happy with laughter and exuberance. The Test has been designed to help every individual understand what happiness means to them, while providing guidance on how to get more of it\u201d.<\/p>\n
