BRISBANE, Queensland\u2014April 27, 2011\u2014EB Games, Australia\u2019s largest video game and entertainment software retailer, today announced that over the next week they aim to raise a massive $370,000 to brighten the lives of seriously ill and hospitalised kids.<\/p>\n
EB Games will be holding a national week of fundraising for the Starlight Children\u2019s Foundation in their 372 stores nationwide and online at ebgames.com.au, where they aim to outdo last years result of $300,000 raised.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are now in our 4th year of the EB Games Starlight week event and it has become one of the biggest of its kind in Australia. This year we are asking people to put in an extra special effort and help us beat last years total of $300,000\u201d Debra McGrath, EB Games National Brand and Marketing Manager stated.<\/p>\n
Debra continued: \u201cWe understand that Australians have been asked to donate a lot this year, however we feel it\u2019s vital that we continue to support charity\u2019s like Starlight, so they can carry on the amazing work they do for seriously ill children.\u201d<\/p>\n
