Utilising solely the text of Ginsberg\u2019s autobiographical, homoerotic poem, transcripts of its trial for obscenity, and audio interviews with Ginsberg himself, HOWL is an in-depth profile of the man and the poem that woke America from its prim post-war malaise. Franco\u2019s Beat poet finds his place in the counter culture of San Francisco in the late 1950s, alongside such icons as future-author Jack Kerouac, sowing the seeds for the sexual revolution of the 1960s.<\/p>\n
