AUSTRALIA – January 19, 2011 \u2013 Ubisoft announced today that the Animus Project Update 2.0 downloadable content (DLC) for Assassin\u2019s Creed Brotherhood for the Xbox 360\u00ae video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and the PlayStation\u00ae3 computer entertainment system is now available on XBOX LIVE\u00ae and PlayStation\u00ae Network for download for free.<\/p>\n
The Animus Project Update 2.0 includes a brand-new game mode and brand new map for Assassin\u2019s Creed Brotherhood Multiplayer:<\/p>\n
– The Pienza Map provides the perfect free-running playground where predators and targets can blend and disappear.<\/p>\n
– In the new Chest Capture Multiplayer Mode, two teams, comprised of three players each, partner with fellow Templars to either defend or capture Chests. The \u201cCapturers\u201d must use their HUDs to locate and capture the chests, while \u201cDefenders\u201d must use their skills and quick reflexes to track down their foes and protect the chests.<\/p>\n
Also included in Animus Project Update 2.0 is the new \u201cTemplar Score\u201d feature. To achieve order and maintain competition, Abstergo created the Templar Grade. Updated weekly and based on the users scores of the previous four weeks, the Templar Grade splits recruits in 10 specific slices \u2013 each representing part of the hierarchy of the community. The goal is to reward diligent work by Abstergo recruits.<\/p>\n
