Sherlock Holmes versus Arsene Lupin is the latest true adventure game on the PC that teleports players back to the 19th century as the legendary Sherlock Holmes. The gentlemen thief, Arsene Lupin has announced to England that he plans to rob London of five objects of immense value within the next five days and it is up to Sherlock Holmes to foil his nefarious plans before these objects fall into the wrong hands. Sherlock Holmes versus Arsene Lupin is your classic adventure game that is almost an extinct breed on the PC as players navigate through a gloriously recreated 19th century 3D world as they search the gaming environment for clues in order to stop this not so modest thief. Faithfully recreated landmarks of the era that include the Tower of London and the National Gallery are just a few of the sites that gamers will visit in this engaging adventure game.
Features:
The gameplay of Sherlock Holmes versus Arsene Lupin allows players to traverse this fully interactive 3D world that has the player talking to a plethora of characters from the Victorian era as they try to put together the clues of this title. The beauty of Sherlock Holmes versus Arsene Lupin is the advanced gameplay of the title which allows gamers to be fully immersed in this world of detectives by allowing players to experience a unique first person view that puts you right amidst the action.
Although the clues in this current incarnation of Sherlock Holmes
range from easy to difficult, the developers have ensured that most
older gamer should be able to solve this title, even if they need to
come back to the places they are stuck at a few times. It might take
a different approach or perspective to solve the riddles but in the
end, it will be worth it.
Although the
special effects in the title are sometimes far and few, the
developers have ensured that the title contains enough to make this
a rather visually impressive game. It also comes at a small price
and recommends only minimum system requirements such as a 64MB
graphics card that is DirectX 9 compatible and 3GB of hard drive of
space which also assists with the speed. To compliment the title,
the game also contains an engaging soundtrack which would not be out
of place of the era and some great background ambient sounds. |
