Surge protection is one of those items that most users will either ignore or remind themselves that at a later date, that they should really investigate one of these items... and unfortunately for some, power spikes and electrical surges can ruin a wide range of electrical equipment.

Needless to say, surge protection is quite an important aspect to any electrical items and should a doomsday scenario happen (e.g. a lightning strike), whatever items are plugged into your mains may be totally destroyed... electronically and sometimes physically.

This can be prevented by the installation of a surge protection power board that has been professionally and electronically designed to handle a massive electrical surge which means the unit will protect your valuable electronic devices.

The Superior Series 6-way surge protector targets those mid-level to advanced computer users who use a variety of computing devices such as computers, LCD's, ADSL modems, audio video, Ethernet networks and other everyday households electronics.

To install the device, you simple connected the surge protector to your power outlet and then connect your peripherals into the unit. The device also has a surge protector indicator which is a small LED to indicate that the device is working properly. Another impressive feature of the Superior Series 6-way device is the Earth indicator which when displayed, ensures that all your electrical wiring is earthed.

The device also comes with a spoiler cable system which is a lift up bar that assists in keeping your cords in a nice and ordered fashion. We connected our desktop computer, TV, ADSL modem, Epson Printer and our Netgear router into the surge protected which is easily connected these 6 peripherals.

The beauty of the device is that it also reduces "electrical" noises which can be seen via digital TV. For instance, if you turn an appliance off or sometimes on, this will cause the ditital TV sound signal to be lost for a split second. With the Superior Series 6-way installed, there was no electrical interference whatsoever.

The unit also comes with a high quality coaxial cable and also a phone cable of 1.8M in length, match that with the 2M cable of the Super Series 6-way and you have everything you need to protect your electrical equipment. We would happily recommend this device to all mid-level to semi-professional computer users or for those users who own Plasma or LCD televisions with other entertainment electrical accessories
