Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical - reviewed by Tory Favro Review Date: 19th November 2002 Review Score: 9.0/10 Distributor: Microsoft | |
The new
Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical is the entry level optical device from
Microsoft. In honest truth, this device does not offer the same sort of
style or features that the other higher end mice do in the current series,
however as mice go, it is quite comfortable to use.
Features of the Microsoft Wheel Mouse Optical -
Reliable Optical Technology - No Mouse Ball -
Faster Wheel Scrolling for Right or Left
Hand -
No Mouse Pad Required - Gives smooth
precise motion on virtually any surface
There really isn't too
much to comment on with this mouse. It's simple really. The wheel moves
smoothly and is great for scrolling through web pages or for changing
weapons in first person shooter games.
Being optical, the response that you get
from the pointer is more accurate and timely than that offered by a mouse
ball arrangement. Also no more cleaning up the dust rolled up into the
device anymore. This should extend the general life of the mouse. |
