My kids love the Hooley Dooleys, my two year old in particular. She claps and sings along with their songs an dances along to the music. This DVD has not one episode but two making it excellent value for money.

To me,  the Hooley Dooleys don't really do that much, however their combination of bright colours, friendly smiles and easy to listen to songs make them a very easy to listen to group. For those of you not in the know, the Hooley Dooleys are: Antoine, Bruce and David and they are accompanied by their friends Russell the Muscley Kangaroo and Tickle the Doodat.

The disc is a fairly simple affair with not too much in the way of extras, in fact there are none! There is the option of choosing which episode you want to play and then either playing that episode or a particular song from the show.

The video quality is okay, nothing to rave about there, however I do have to bear in mind that this is a kids DVD and it falls into the category of discs that you'd put on to keep the kids busy whilst you get the dishes washed without interruption. The songs are very simplistic as is their presentation, though I am guessing that they are not operating on the same budgets as Hi-5 or The Wiggles.

Normally I'd can something like this as I do believe it to be very ordinary, however my kids love it and let's face it, that's who the disc is being made for. So this score is based on the kids reaction to the DVD, not my own personal opinion. I am sure that the disc is educationally sound but it just appears amateurish.
