Welcome back to Matt Groening's Futurama universe that tells the humorous anecdotes of a futuristic delivery company called Planet Express. The main character of the series is Fry, one of the most stupidest and loveable characters of the series who was once a pizza delivery boy that got accidentally frozen in a storage fridge on New Years even in 1999. Fortunately for Fry, he was unthawed 1000 years later and hooked up with his senile relative from the future called Professor Farnsworth, the highly sarcastic robot Bender, the extremely sexy one-eyed girl called Leela and of course a cast highly humorous supporting cast members such as Doctor Zoidberg and the bumbling space captain called Zack Brannigan.

Futurama is one of those unlucky shows that never quite made it on Australian television and is only shown in small amounts at unexpected times such as 10:30pm or 11:30pm and nights. Futurama could be considered as the "adult" version of the Simpsons that although many of the gags are visual, there is also a variety of humour that is hidden away in innuendo and pays homage to a variety of shows from the 20th century. This season of Futurama contains over 22 episodes that include giant "horny" Amazonian women, the Harlem Globetrotters and one of the most funniest episodes entitled "The Day the Earth Stood Still" that features giant brains and my favourite creature in the entire Futurama universe, the hypno-toad.

The video quality of Futurama season 3 is brilliant and features many vivid colours and extremely sharp picture quality without any errors whatsoever. The combination of "true" animation and computer generated images is flawlessly integrated into this amazing series. The audio quality of season 3 of Futurama is also perfect and features some amazing sound effects, extremely clear audio and a brilliant musical score.

As with most quality titles from 20th Century Fox, season 3 of Futurama is littered with extras on this four disc package and includes a plethora of amusingly funny deleted scenes, two featurettes, international clips, a slide show of how to draw Futurama characters, a stills gallery and various trailers that include the new Futurama game. I was a little bit disappointed with the limited audio commentary that is featured in this season of Futurama.

In conclusion, Futurama season 3 is a must own for Futurama or Simpsons fans and is probably the most wittiest cartoon series to date that adults and children can enjoy. With a perfect transfer to DVD, Futurama is the perfect series that can be watched over and over again. Highly Recommended!
