One of the best "teen angst comedies" I have seen in some time, American Pie is the tale of four guys with a pact. A pact to get laid by or on Prom Night! With intentions as noble as these, we set out on our journey of self discovery.

And as crass as this first paragraph sounded, American Pie is a bittersweet comedy reflecting on relationships and the last year of high school for these young people. Often with hilarious results.

This movie is brilliant and will have you laughing and cringing at the same time, all characters play their parts well and are very viewable. Just the sheer awkwardness of the lead, Jason Biggs, will have you in stitches, let alone the relationship he has with his very understanding father.

The disc sounds and looks great, and with all the extra features on the collector's edition, this movie is a must have addition to your DVD collection.
