Impulse Gamer has been having a SteelSeries review boom at present and we just recently reviewed the Sensei Pro Grade Laser Mouse and we're just finishing up the Apex Gaming Keyboard so keep an eye out for that review soon! To compliment this performance driven gaming duo, we've also had the opportunity of reviewing the Siberia v2 Full Size Headset which could be considered the crown when it comes to gaming. The Siberia v2 also comes in a variety of colours that include black (reviewed), orange, green, red, purple, pink, black/gold, white and blue. There's a colour for everyone!

Specifications
The first thing that you notice about the Siberia v2 is the professional build of the headset. The build model of the Siberia is quite sturdy and it actually looks a little cooler than most military inspired gaming headsets. When snugly fitted on your head, the Siberia is not tight and of course can be adjusted for your head.
What I liked about the cups is that
after a heavy session of gaming, your ears don't get sore,
thanks to the cushioning and after awhile, you almost forget
that you're actually wearing something on your head. Given that,
the Siberia are extremely light for a headset of this size. The
ear cups also boast noise reducing foam which definitely dampens
background noise thanks to the closed design of the headset.
With most gaming headsets, the microphone is retractable and can be easily moved into the right position when necessary. However the microphone is actually hidden in the left ear cup which is a nifty feature. The quality of the microphone is above average than other gaming headsets but provided your opponents can hear you is all that matters, so it's really a moot point. Volume control and microphone is also incorporated into the cable for easy access.
