What do you get, when you add four attractive young women, the perfect Hollywood lifestyle and the highs and lows of friendship? The answer is, The Hills which is a realty based American TV series that revolves around Lauren (Lauren Conrad) and her social network of friends. It's classic TV trash, however it's so addictive that you'll be watching episode after episode. Season three picks up from the previous season that had Lauren ending her long-term relationship with her boyfriend after turning down a chance to spend the summer in Paris, working for Teen Vogue. In series three, Lauren's life seems to be improving as she is given the chance of working in Paris where a number of clichéd and comedic disasters happen, however thankfully her boss at Teen Vogue is obliviously to her flippant attitude. To compound the situation, her former best friend Stephanie (Stephanie Pratt) is attempting to rekindle their friendship after her finance has created a rumor that Lauren starred in her own sex tape. Lauren bluntly tells Stephanie that she can forgive but wants to forget her and from there, Lauren's life takes a spiral dive as her fiancé doesn't want to get married and spends much of his time sabotaging his finance's dream wedding. Add in Audrina Patridge, Lauren's new best friend who has a new Australian boyfriend and whose life is almost perfect, Lauren is jealous of what she has and to add some fuel to the fire, their friend Heidi Montag seems to moving up in the world. Season three is thoroughly addictive and it's hard to turn away as you continue to watch episode after episode of these almost perfect creatures whose lives seem to have all the problems of "normal" people, it's just that they have the perfect jobs and a wealthy bank account behind them.
After you've finished the series, you can sit back and enjoy some
deleted scenes, cast interviews and some great commentary by all
involved in this staged realty TV show. Featuring romance, comedy,
friendship and the start of adulthood, The Hills Season 3 is a
trashy yet gripping series that we could highly recommend to the
female viewer!
