This enchanting DVD and CD collection features Loreena McKennitt during her 2006 comeback tour after almost one decade of absence. The talented Canadian singer fuses together a variety of genres into a magical and almost mythical musical experience that joins together Celtic and Middle Eastern tones. Although much of the music is classical in its nature, some of the tunes are quite different and feature an almost rock sounding theme to them which makes this an amazing experience. Filmed in the beautiful city of Alhambra in Spain with its ancient Moorish architecture, it's quite easy to become lost on this DVD as McKennitt not only sings but plays three different musical instruments. The DVD also comes with two CD's to really put the icing on the cake and although never hearing of Loreena McKennitt before, her musical prowess has definitely made me a fan of the genre and her voice. Highly Recommended!
