The talented Jon Pertwee returns in Doctor Who the Time Warrior (original air date 1973) that reunites the Doctor with Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen) who impersonates a virologist to gain access to a top secret facility in order to investigate why a number of scientists have gone missing. To compound the situation, Sontaran and Linx are behind the disappearances who have nefariously taken back the scientists to medieval England to repair a crashed space ship. The storyline is classic Doctor Who which features some overthetop performances by Pertwee and Sladen in whom some say is the definitive Doctor Who. What really makes this DVD unique is the amount of special features on the disc such as the in-depth commentary by Sladen and Letts (Producer) who give a real insight into the series of the time. They have also added some new CGI effects into the episodes to give it a new twist on how things could have been. Brilliant! Special Features:
