Dark Ride is your classic teenage horror fest that revolves around an amusement park ride where two twins were mysteriously killed. Needless to say, the urban legends of this ride have grown over the years and when a group of teenagers decide to visit this horrific wide, they are thrown into a world of nightmarish chaos. Even though the plot is predictable at times, director Craig Singer still has a knack of scaring you at the most inappropriate times. Featuring Jamie-Lynn Sigler, Patrick Renna & David Clayton Rogers, the director has casted together a rather broad range of actors to help keep the scares going in this entertaining yet sometimes clichéd and predictable horror movie. Even so, Dark Ride is definitely a movie for the younger horror movie aficionado. With Dolby Digital 5.1 and 16:9 widescreen, Dark Ride is almost a cinematic movie experience that is best watched in the dark to experience the ultimate scare fest. |
