Blades of Glory is the comedy blockbuster of the year that features Will Ferrell as Chazz Michael Michaels (Anchor Man), Jon Hedger as Jimmy MacElroy (Napoleon Dynamite) who play World Champion ice skaters that have been disqualified from ever competing again in the singles event due to a hilarious outbreak between these two dueling skatists. Both falling away from the skating world, Jimmy MacElroy's former coach brings the pair together to skate in the mixed doubles to take on their rivals. Both Ferrell and Hedger bounce of each other throughout the entire movie which is extremely entertaining from start to finish with some really strange scenes in the movie that will leave you thinking what on earth is going on but still smiling. Definitely one of Ferrell's better movies of late that is highly recommended to the popcorn audience. Once again Hedger does an amazing job that has been cleverly directed by Josh Gordon and Will Speck. The disc also contains some brilliant special features that will keep you glued from the screen from various parodies, featurettes and a great gag reel. Blades of Glory will have you coming back for more and more. Match that with 16:9 widescreen quality video that is clear and extremely colourful with Dolby Digital 5.1, you have a true cinematic experience. Great stuff! Special Features: |
