Now in its third season, The Walking Dead continues to break ratings records, both in Australia and overseas – Season 3 consistently ranking as the number one show on Pay TV internationally.

Season 3 stepped up the game with the introduction of all new characters The Governor, played by David Morrissey (Captain Corelli's Mandolin, State of Play) and Michonne (Danai Gurira: The Visitor). Season 4 (BD/DVD release date TBC) will see additional characters introduced to the group of survivors.

Based on Robert Kirkman’s best-selling comic book series, The Walking Dead Season 3 is available on Blu-ray and DVD 25 September, packed with extras. The show’s fanbase has extended well into the mainstream – now with the release of films like World War Z (Brad Pitt), a rise in this genre can be seen and The Walking Dead really kickstarted all that.
