SYDNEY, Australia – 6th June, 2014 – Samsung Electronics Australia today announced the local pricing and availability of the highest resolution monitor Samsung has produced*. The 28-inch UD590 Ultra High Definition (UHD) LED monitor provides Australian consumers, enthusiast PC gamers, and businesses with the latest innovations in Samsung monitor technology.

The UD590 UHD LED monitor has 3840 x 2160 pixels, which provides four times the number of pixels of 1080p Full HD LED displays and can deliver detailed, high-pixel imaging and stunning colours*. It is capable of producing vivid images with brilliant colour representation.

The UD590 UHD LED monitor delivers a response time of 2ms (G2G) with a refresh rate of 60Hz (when connected via the Display Port). It’s designed to help provide smooth and crisp images during fast paced scenes in video games and movies with limited motion judder, blurring or ghosting for an immersive viewing experience. The UD590 has one Display Port and two HDMI inputs to connect the monitor to compatible computers, laptops, gaming consoles, and AV devices.

Taking advantage of the large UHD LED screen, the UD590 features advanced multitasking technology with Samsung Picture in Picture (PIP) 2.0 that supports native sources resolution up to Full High Definition and Picture by Picture (PBP) that connects two different PCs to one monitor screen with native resolutions.
