Quake Champions | Competition Heats Up in the Million Dollar Quake World Championships

After two weeks of intense Qualifiers in Quake Champions’ new 1v1 Duel and 4v4 Sacrifice modes, the best have begun to separate themselves from the rest in the Quake World Championships. We’re halfway there — 32 EU & NA Duel players and eight EU Teams have already punched their tickets to the Regional Finals. Missed the action? You can catch up on all of the action on Twitch or see some quick highlights on the ESL Quake Twitter feed.

The battle for the $1 million USD prize pool reaches the next stage at the Regional Finals August 6 and 7 AEST, followed by the Finals to be held on the main stage at QuakeCon in Dallas, Texas, August 25-27 AEST. Australians Andrew ‘Python’ Cha Cham, and Daniel ‘Astroboy’ De Sousa of JAM Gaming and Frazer ‘Fraze’ Hockley, and Tyler ‘Steej’ Joseph of Corvidae are also competing at The Quake Champions BYOC (bring your own computer) tournament to take a shot at qualifying for the Quake World Championships.
