Tell us a bit about
yourself.
My name is Courtney
Crave; I’m model and burlesque performer from Germany
now living in Dallas, Texas. I’m fluent in English and
German, I love kids cartoons, and I hate bananas.
What made you get into
modeling?
I always wanted to model
and dabbled in modeling as a teen and then began doing
it seriously after I finished getting my psychology
degree when some photographers approached me at a local
alternative club.
What do you enjoy about
modeling?
It’s fun! You get to
create different characters and work with lots of
different people and travel the world.
What about nude
modeling?
I do a lot of nude
modeling. I’m very comfortable naked and you never have
to think about what to pack for a shoot.
Worst part of modeling?
Not getting images back.
It’s amazing how often photographers will either wait a
year or longer or sometimes even never send you photos.
Do you have any tattoos?
If so where and what of?
Yes! My entire back is
tattooed with birds, plumeria blossoms, and a Japanese
goldfish. I also have the German words “Liebe” and
“Leide” in script on the backs of my thighs, which mean
“Love” and “Suffer” respectively.
What's your best asset?
I’d like to think that
I’m pretty darn smart and funny. I don’t think people
expect that of a blonde with big fake boobs.
Worst?
I’m always late. Always.
It’s terrible, no matter what I do to be on time I
always end up about 15 minutes late.
What are three
technological things you cannot live without?
My iphone, the internet,
and my “back massager”.
How do you relax?
By reading horror
novels, lounging at the pool with a cocktail, or doing
yoga.
Top three things that
annoy you?
Lazy grammar (U instead
of you, 4 instead of for, etc.), realizing there’s only
enough milk for half your bowl of cereal after you’ve
already poured it, and being woken up before my alarm.
Top three things that
make you happy?
Kittens, swimming, and
fine dining. Three sure fire ways to cure any bad day.
What is your favourite
video game?
I really love all the
Raving Rabbids game (especially Rabbids Go Home).
Primarily because they’re super silly and a mixture of
puzzle, action, and cute bunnies screaming and attacking
people.

If you could go back in
time and visit yourself at age 10, what would you say?
“The Mega Millions
winning lottery numbers for the largest jackpot in
history on March 30th, 2012 are…”
On the other hand, if
you could go into the future and visit yourself 80, what
would you ask?
“What do you regret?”
That way I could change it.
Married, relationship or
Single?
Relationship.
What do you look for in
a guy?
Sense of humor,
cultured, and good teeth.
What is your favorite
movie?
I can’t narrow it down
to just one, so here are my top three: One Flew Over the
Cuckoos Nest, The Last Unicorn, and Spaceballs.
Favourite Music?
Depends on my mood. I
listen to everything from Broadway musicals to 80’s hair
metal to classical to euro-pop to psychobilly. Just no
country…
Favourite Food?
I love food. I can’t
live without cheese.
Favourite Colour?
Pink or black. That
pretty much describes my whole closet.
Favourite TV Show?
Criminal Minds, I can
watch marathons of it over and over. I’m also really
into X-Files even though it’s off the air and still
watch all the reruns.
Favourite Animal?
Cats. And snakes! I
almost went to school to be a herpetologist, but I got a
psychology degree instead.
Your motto for life?
Eat, drink, and be
merry. I’m very hedonistic, life is too short to not be
enjoying every minute of it.
Do you have a fan site
like twitter, myspace or facebook?
Yes! Thank you for
asking! My website in progress is
www.courtneycrave.com. My blog site packed
with photos and daily shenanigans is
www.germandreamgirl.com. You can also
stalk me on twitter (www.twitter.com/CourtneyCrave)
and facebook (www.facebook.com/GermanDreamGirl).
What does the future
hold for you?
My magic 8 ball still
isn’t clear on that. Hopefully more tattoos, lots of
traveling, a few trips to Europe, and lots of time spent
by a pool this summer.
Ten words or less for
your fans?
You guys rock! Your
support gives me warm fuzzies inside.
Lastly, any scoops for
our readers?
I should have some fun
new magazine publications coming out this summer! Keep
an eye out on Atomic Bombshells, Bachelor Pad, Retro
Lovely Taboo, and Skin & Ink. I also have a role in an
independent horror film short that should be out this
fall called Survivor Girl.
