LifeProof delivers waterproof cases for iPhone 5c

Frē and nüüd cases clear back cover highlights phone’s brilliant colours

Sydney, Australia – 29 January, 2014 LifeProof®, the award-winning maker of all-protective, everyday cases for smartphones and tablets, today announced the immediate availability of the LifeProof frē and nüüd cases for the iPhone® 5c.

Delivering the waterproof, drop proof, dirt proof and snow proof protection LifeProof cases are known for, LifeProof frē cases have a built-in scratch protector that provides reliable display defence without sacrificing touchscreen sensitivity.

The LifeProof nüüd for iPhone 5c uses a compression lock system to form a waterproof seal between the case and the device touch screen. This delivers water protection of up to 2 metres for one hour while maintaining premium clarity and touch sensitivity.

LifeProof frē and nüüd’s unique patent pending cases are engineered to withstand challenging environments in its sleek, slim form and features a clear back to highlight the device’s vibrant colour.

“LifeProof is excited to announce the availability of the new frē and nüüd cases for the iPhone 5c in Australia. iPhone 5c users will now be able to experience our legendary four-proof protection,” said Steve Nisbet, Managing Director of OtterBox Asia Pacific. “By keeping a clear back cover design, we’ve ensured that the case doesn’t detract from the phone’s brilliant colour and design.”

Both the LifeProof frē and nüüd cases for iPhone 5c are available in black and white with a clear back cover. The cases are designed to complement every feature and function including speakers, volume controls, touchscreen and cameras. These cases have gone through independent lab testing to meet military standards for shock and impact protection with an IP68 rating for protection from water and dust. All LifeProof cases are backed by a one-year warranty.

The LifeProof frē and nüüd cases are available at selected Optus, Telstra and Virgin stores, for a suggested retail price of $89.95 and $109.95 respectively.
