Kids Edutainment (PC) Reviews: Timmy's Birthday Party (ages 4-8)

Timmy's Birthday Party Screenshots

"Lets go party!"

Once again another Timmy game from Compedia, and this time it's Timmy's birthday and we're all invited!

Surprisingly I found this title to be the weakest in the lot we have thus reviewed in the Timmy series with not much redeeming value insofar as general education is concerned.

The game revolves around party games being played by Timmy and his pals and your children can join in. The games are educational in design but deal moreso with recognition and eye hand coordination than your basic maths and spelling.

Refreshingly, the games all have difficulty settings and these are appropriately set to challenge your child according to the age of the player.

The activities for your child are varied and well thought out to test a variety of skill sets. The way the game is designed will allow children to play at their own level of competency.

There are 13 activities at three levels of play, covering the following educational skills;

  • Logic
  • Letters and numbers
  • Problem solving
  • Language skills
  • Creativity
  • Colour recognition
  • Shapes

Kids will have a lot of fun playing this game and its bright and cheerful outlay will amuse them for quite some time.
