What would you do if you came across a man who insisted that he was an alien and despite everything screaming his fraudulence, fact after fact he relates about the solar system and other galaxies is verified by a team of astronomers who are meant to be that only people with that information.

His name is Prot and he is masterfully portrayed by Kevin Spacey. Trying to find out the truth is psychiatrist Mark Powell (Jeff Bridges) before it's too late for his patient whom Mark is convinced suffered terribly before his delusions of being from another planet.

The story is brilliant from start to the very finish and the way the plot twists and turns is amazing. Is Prot what he claims to be, an extra terrestrial being, or just a sick man? As time goes by, more and more people accept the fact that Prot is indeed from the planet K-Pax, and even Mark begins to doubt his own judgment.

The disc as far as quality in both sound and vision is very good and the audio uses Dolby Digital 5.1 to good effect, albeit very ambiently. The extras are a very nice look into the making of the film and what was going on during production. All things said and done, it's a very nice well rounded lot of extras.

Highly recommended!
