This DVD is a must for any parent of young children. As a father of two very young girls, Hi-5 have been a godsend as far as I am concerned, along with the Wiggles and a number of other children's programs. Not only will the kids have a ball with this disc, you will save as well as there are two videos on the one DVD.

The beauty of Hi-5 is that the whole program is perfectly presented in a way that kids find fun and refreshing. Summer Rainbows takes the team down to the beach for new round of singing and dancing. The presentation is fantastic and it never feels like they are speaking down to or condescending to the young audience. It's the magic of colours and a dedicated young team of presenters (Kathleen de Leon, Nathan Foley, Tim Harding, Kellie Hoggart and Charli Robinson).

One of the nice things about Hi-5 is that they don't use expensive props to illustrate their songs and they are more often than not household utensils that you would have at home to entertain the kids. This way it's more than possible to create your own Hi-5 "sets" at home after the show has ended for the children to have some good old fashion fun.

The quality of the audio and video on the disc is very good and the audio especially crisp opposed to what you'd normally get on tape on kids video.

Move Your Body is the second show on this disc and involves a lot of fun, dancing and singing. There are many moments that your kids will get a lot of enjoyment out of and the songs will stick on adults too whether you like them or not, they are so catchy. There is the option of karaoke on both videos for your children to drive you mad singing the songs you have been hearing all day anyway and the shows are full screen pan and scan which is the best way to present shows to young children who are more than likely to get up and jump around to this wonderful DVD and would have trouble seeing it in widescreen.

I would have loved if there had been a commentary track or something of the like to learn how much work these young people put into creating such a wonderful show. Maybe next time.

I can certainly recommend this DVD and my eldest daughter definitely gives it two thumbs up!
