This DVD rules! Eargasm features the best in contemporary punk and thrash music with the artists playing live in concert interspersed by awesome extreme sport action.

Being an old school fan of absolutely everything on this DVD, reviewing it was too good an opportunity to pass up. Just look at the track listing for how cool the songs are on it:

Bad Religion – American Jesus
Good Riddance – America Flies First Class
Strung Out – Too Close To See
NOFX – Don’t Call Me White
Snapcase – Bleeding Orange
Lagwagon – Train
Guttermouth – 1, 2, 3…Slam
Unwritten Law – Teenage Suicide
Suicidal Tendencies – Pledge Your Allegiance
Face To Face – 1000x
Pennywise – Bro Hymn

Many of the tracks were done during the Vans Warped tour and it was cool to see how it was all set up in the States. The action shown was shot on 16mm film and is sensational. No matter what your choice of extreme sport, it is featured on this DVD including wavepool, skateboarding, bmx, wakeboarding, motocross, snowmobiling, jet skiing, dirtboarding, surfing, snowboarding and skimboarding.

Aside from the live performances, I was stoked to see the addition of all the interviews which were particularly cool. The only downside was the Bad Religion interview where the guys seemed determined to give the interviewer a hard time and as far as I was concerned, came across as a pack of tossers, albeit with some very funny things to say!

The only slights to this disc is that it would be have been nicer recorded in 5.1 - it's in 2 channel stereo and there are artefacts present especially during full black screens.

Overall, the quality of the product shines through and for fans of punk and extreme sports, there is no reason why you would not get this DVD. In fact, get out there and buy it now.
