Anyone with even a passing interest in the game of Cricket will have heard of the Chappell brothers and their contribution to the sport in general during some very turbulent times in the history of the game.

Whilst the film does title itself the Chappell Era, it is a very close look at the whole Australian team at the time and features interviews and commentary from the players of that time.

It's a bit of a hard title to review in a clear and concise way to you the reader, as in it's essence it's just a cricket DVD. However that does it no justice at all as it's a fascinating look at the game and the politics of the time. It delves into the period when South Africa were pulled out of the international game.

All I can say is that this is a disc that would be an excellent addition to schools and for any fans of cricket. If you want a look at the historical period of the 70's and the way it affected the game, this is one you really should watch.

Recommended.
