Hearthstone Championship Tour Spring Championship Destination Revealed!
After the Winter season’s island getaway to the Bahamas, the Hearthstone Championship Tour is heading to the big city! Shanghai, China will host the 2017 HCT Spring Championship from 7-9 July (AEST/NZST). The Spring Championship will take place in the Silver Hall of the Expo Center in Shanghai, China. Qualification & Format:
The top four players from each region’s Spring Playoff (Americas, Europe, China, Asia-Pacific) will qualify for a spot in the Spring Championship. In Shanghai, those 16 players will battle in a dual tournament group stage, and the top two players from each group advance to the single-elimination playoff bracket. Total prize pool for the Spring Championship is $250,000 USD.

Tavern Hero competition kicked off last weekend, with Tavern Hero hopefuls from Europe and the Americas competing for a total of 16 positions (8 per region) in their upcoming respective Playoffs, which kick off later in May. Asia-Pacific Tavern Heroes compete this coming weekend for their position in their regional playoffs in early June.
