Gold Class projection from BenQ

Sydney Australia, 12 March 2014: The BenQ W7500 Home Cinema Projector, featuring Full HD, 1080p 3D premium picture quality will be launched in Australia this month offering movie and sports enthusiasts a Gold Class viewing experience within the comfort of their own lounge room.

The W7500 brings professional-grade video to Home Theatre spaces – it’s BenQ’s latest high-end projector packed with advanced features giving instant access to all forms of epic entertainment.

The BenQ W7500 is a home cinema projector, that is, ‘professional grade’ which means it will turn any home theatre setting into an immersive cinema experience.

Says Martin Moelle, BenQ’s Australian MD, “…it’s not just about movies – sports fans will feel like they’re at the game occupying the best seats in the house, while gaming will take on a whole new edge in ‘big screen’ format with BenQ’s Colourific™ image quality.”

The projector is compliant to the native Rec. 709 colour gamut – one of the highest HD video standards available for professional-grade home projectors.  Featuring the high brightness of 2000 ANSI lumens, full HD imaging and an astounding 60,000:1 contrast ratio, the W7500 provides premium picture quality to today’s quality-focused home cinema applications.

The W7500 is equipped with frame interpolation to reduce motion blur and make animation more fluid and is ISFccc-certified by the Imaging Science Foundation® (ISF®) – ie viewers enjoy a professionally calibrated picture via optimised viewing modes.

Delivering accurate, crisp and long-lasting colour- up to one billion colours on the projection screen without experiencing light burn or colour degradation over extended usage – the W7500 can also handle 2D to 3D content conversion and boasts the integration of a Panamorph lens allowing users to view content in the original Hollywood 2.35:1 widescreen format.

The W7500 provides a wide range of flexible setup and connectivity options including dual HDMI connectivity to easily link external components, horizontal and vertical lens shifting for easy calibration and a large 1.5 zoom ratio to make installation easy in any room configuration.  It comes with customisable presets – allowing users to easily adjust the device to their personal viewing preferences.

Said Moelle, “offering flexible set up options, and extreme ease-of-use, an impressive 60,000:1 contrast ratio and premium picture quality for colour precision that matches the human eye, the W7500 is BenQ’s most exciting home cinema innovations to date.”
