Geeks, gamers, and pop culture fans in Adelaide rejoice… Oz Comic-Con is back in town!
Oz Comic-Con, Australia’s favourite pop-culture event, is back in town this weekend, April 1-2, providing SA’s ultimate celebration of geeky goodness.
Fans will have the opportunity to meet celebrity guests including Jason Momoa (Aquaman, Game of Thrones), Melissa Joan Hart (Sabrina the Teenage Witch), Clive Standen (Vikings, Taken television series), Brent Spiner (Star Trek: The Next Generation), Arthur Darvill (Doctor Who), Charles Martinet (the voice of Super Mario), along with Brian O’Halloran and Marilyn Ghigliotti (Clerks).
Oz Comic-Con Adelaide will also see the 2017 launch of The Australian Championships of Cosplay, with the winners securing a place in the national finals this September in Sydney.
But it doesn’t stop there – Oz Comic-Con Adelaide will also be home to local and international comic artists, exclusive workshops, dedicated anime and gaming areas on the show floor, a Marvel/Disney exhibit featuring Death Troopers and a surprise Guardians of the Galaxy 2 feature, family activities and fantastic, costumed fan groups. With something for fans of every age, genre and interest, Oz Comic-Con Adelaide is the only place to be this weekend.
