Game of Thrones stars Daniel Portman and Keisha Castle-Hughes head to Oz Comic-Con Sydney and Brisbane in September
Game of Thrones stars Keisha Castle-Hughes and Daniel Portman are heading down under to show Oz Comic-Con fans in Sydney and Brisbane who really rules the Seven Kingdoms. Attendees will have the opportunity to purchase tickets to an exclusive Game of Thrones dinner with the stars, participate in Q&A panels with Castle-Hughes and Portman and take part in professional autograph and photograph opportunities.
Keisha Castle-Hughes rose to fame as the 13-year-old star of Whale Rider, which led to an Academy Award nomination. Since then she has followed up with Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and The Almighty Johnsons and now stars on Game of Thrones as Obara Sand, one of the three Sandsnake sisters from Dorne.
Daniel Portman joined Game of Thrones as Tyrion Lannister’s loyal squire Podrick Payne in season 2 and he’s been fighting off death ever since! Before Game of Thrones, Portman appeared in the Scottish soap River City, alongside James Nesbitt.
Portman and Castle-Hughes join already announced guests Shawn Ashmore ( X-Men: Days of Future Past, X-Men: The Last Stand, The Following), Aaron Ashmore (Smallville, Killjoys, Veronica Mars), Charlie and Max Carver (Teen Wolf, Desperate Housewives), Amanda Tapping (Stargate Atlantis, Stargate SG-1, Sanctuary, Supernatural) and Maggie Rosewell (The Simpsons), with plenty more to be announced in the lead up.
