I've met Chris Martin from Cold Play when they came to Australia to play at the Big Day out (they had only released the song Yellow at the time) and he was really nice.
We were outside there hotel spotting celebs but i didnt know much about Cold Play at the time so i stood at the back of the crowd just watching....then a few hours later we walked past him on a back street near their hotel and he recognised me (dont know how tho) and came over to say hello Cheesy We got some photos and it was very nice of him to approach us instead of the other way round  Cool
He'd been out shopping for some Aussie music and showed us the Silverchair and powderfinger cds he had just bought

I've met Hugh Jackman and quite a few Aussie stars.  In Melbourne, Australia the place to see celebs is Prahran, it's like the Hollywood of the city.  It's got the cool shopping and great restaurants.

Oh yeah, l saw Billy (Andrew Shute?) from Melrose Place years ago at a store signing.  I so loved him.  My mum went bonkers and kissed him.  He was pretty embarrassed!

Wow, Nattera, that is very cool.  See, you don't have to pay heaps to see stars in concert.  That rocks.  Sometimes we forget celebs are human too and just going about their day.  Were you nervous?

Yeah I was nervous. I wouldnt usually go up to a celeb on the street, so when he came up to me it was very bizarre! Im still not sure how he would have even recognised me because there was 50 people surrounding him all wanting a photo and I was standing up the back just watching

That is awesome you met Hugh too! I want to meet him  Smiley  It sounds like you could meet more celebs in Prahran than Hollywood - spent a few days in Hollywood including going to Rodeo Drive and driving around celeb houses on a mini bus did not see any celebs at all  Sad

This post here can be considered as a showing off post, just kidding. Well, I may not have been as lucky as any of you here. I have met any celebrities in real person but I think there’s a possibility that I can meet them in the future. Anyways, meeting them or not doesn’t really play a role in my dreams or even life. I guess I am just fond with myself but I would be happy too I can meet them.

We have a certain celeb whose mum lives in our street.

Kind of weird when youre doing some gardening and a car pulls up across the road and they walk out :\
