FINAL WAR TOURNAMENT: ON THE ROAD TO THE GRAND MELEE
Sydney, 5th May 2017 – Games Lab has announced their first Final War tournament with a prize pool of $50,000! The tournament kicks off with qualifying rounds at game stores around Australia and ends with the Grand Melee at PAX AUS 2017. Players will have a chance to win the $20,000 first prize, along with other cash prizes, merchandise, flights to PAX Australia, and PAX passes. See below for more details!
- Qualifying rounds will start in May and run through to August 31st.
- One player in each Qualifying Round will go to Regionals for every 8 players in the Qualifier (rounding down).
- Games Lab will organise Tournament Regionals for multiple states in September and early October.
- 4 invited/wild card players will be added to the Grand Melee.
- No entry fee is applicable for qualifying players at the Regional Finals or the Grand Melee event.
- Participants must be physically present to play Final War and must each have a qualifying 50-card player deck with a Warlord card.
