The final set in the
Torchwood series arrives on DVD which finalizes the first chapter of
the Doctor Who spin-off. Once again the characters of "Torchwood", a
covert extra terrestrial and paranormal investigation agency attempt
to prevent a nefarious amount both human and alien entities from
breaking the time continuum who are led by the charismatic Captain
Jack (John Borrowman).
The earlier episodes
were quite camp and cliché, however as the series has progressed,
the characters and even the actors themselves have found their
footing. The final of the series (apart from some horrible yet
entertaining special effects) is a classic cliff hanger and for
those perfectionists, that is partially resolves in the current
Doctor Who series.
Definitely an adult science fiction series,
Torchwood Series One Part Three is a must have to all lovers of the
series.
