Naked on the Inside

Director Kim Farrant creates a truly humble documentary experience regarding society's view of body image. Contemporary, witty and quite emotional, Naked on the Inside gives the viewer a true insight into five members of society who give their own insights, secrets and understandings on this powerful international theme.

Farrant has a knack of bringing out the inner beauty of those she interviews such as the dancer without legs or a man inside a woman's body. It's not all about those who live on the fringe as she also interviews a woman with breast cancer and how this effects her role in society as both a woman and a mother.

At times Naked on the Inside is quite emotional, however there is also a healthy hint of humour which makes this quite a compelling documentary. Definitely one for those who are interested in the norms of society.
