Funky Squad

The D-Generation's Late Show "Champaign comedy" humour continues in the 1995 ABC series the "Funk Squad" which is a parody of the 1970's cop shows. Starring Santo Cilauro, Tim Ferguson , Jane Kennedy, Barry Friedlander and Tom Gleisner who was so bad in the show, his co-stars forbid him to talk star in this entertaining spoof of bad haircuts, horrible plots and tight fitted clothing to challenge the thugs of the day with their funky attitude.

Fortunately for the Funky Squad, they are hip police officers who are in touch with their generation and unfortunately for the bad guys, they had better watch out because the Funky Squad are coming to get them and so are their really awkward poses. The comedy of the Funky Squad is clichéd, stereotyped and in most places quite bad, hence the short lived life of this series but it does contain a few classic moments that we could happily recommend to lovers of the D-Generation!
