Bunny And The Bull

This quirky movie revolves around Stephen (Edward Hogg) who suffers from a variety of mental health problems and also has a  seriously whacked out compulsive disorder where he collects and catalogues everything he owns, even urine. Sounds a bit weird and maybe familiar? That's because this movie comes from the classic pop culture hit, The Might Boosh! The journey of Stephen is an interesting one for the viewer which swaps between many different time lines and begins with him in the dumps.

Unfortunately his hoarding has caused his home to be inundated with mice and now he needs to leave the protection of his own home and basically get his act together. The viewer is then taken on a flashback journey of how Stephen became this hermit and became the sheltered individual that he is today.

It all started because a girl declined his advances and this is where his friend Bunny comes into the picture who decides to take him on a whirlwind tour of Europe and more specifically... get him laid. Eventually the two meet Eloisa (Veronica Echegui) and Stephen and Eloisa hit it off where they even visit her home town in Spain. Even though there are some laugh out moments in this film, it's actually quite an insightful drama thanks to the cast and director and of course the relationships between these three uniquely different individuals.

Video/Audio & Special Features

For such a small budget production, the video and audio quality is surprisingly good, however where it does shine is through the special features from funny blooper reels to a great featurette starring the director Paul King.

At times, the movie is a surreal and almost cartoon-like when we get a glimpse into Stephen's past, especially how he explains certain moments in his life but quaint definitely sums this film up perfectly and it will definitely pull on your heart strings.
