AVP2 Requiem

Taking place after the first movie, Aliens vs. Predator, AVP2 Requiem begins with one of the Predator ships leaving Earth and carrying the body of one of the Predators which was impregnated in the previous movie. Although it might help with continuity, you do not need to know what happened in the previous movie.

Unbeknown to the other Predators, an Alien bursts from the body of the Predator, creating a new hybrid alien with attributes of both species. Causing chaos on the ship, it crashes in Colorado spawning more aliens and forcing a veteran Predator to leave his home world to battle these dangerous hybrid creatures.

Although lacking the original suspense of the original Alien movie, this movie is more focused for Predator fans as the death count increases in this classic Science Fiction horror movie which stars David Paetkau, John Ortiz, Johnny Lewis, Reiko Aylesworth, Sam Trammell, Shareeka Epps and Steven Pasquale which is directed by Greg Strause Colin Strause.

The movie is a classic Predator movie and may not cater for everyone's tastes, however if you enjoyed the original movie or the Predator franchise than this will be right up your alley. Presented in glorious 16:9 widescreen which was quite a dark film and Dolby Digital 5.1, you really need to play this film loud to enjoy it. Some interesting commentaries by the Directors and writer but nothing too worthy.

Special Features:

Commentaries with Directors Colin and Greg Strause and Writer Shane Salerno
Commentary by Special Effects Designers Tom Woodruff and Alec Gillis
