Alexei Sayle is a comedic genius and when I heard that Alexei Sayle's Stuff Series 2 was coming on DVD, I was giggling like a school girl. Combining music, skits and standup, Alexei Sayle's Stuff Series 2 has so much comical energy that it has dated quite well for a series that is almost 20 years old, however there are some stages that are extremely embarrassing.

The series was definitely before it's time, an example of which is one throwaway gag about people in India spilling out of the pub at closing time to go for an English, a very similar concept to Goodness Gracious Me's supposedly groundbreaking and hilarious sketch about a bunch of Indians going out for an English.

Presented in an aspect ratio of 4:3 with Dolby Digital, the quality of series is a little dated when it comes to its presentation but fortunately the gags are still intact and if you are a fan of classic British humor, than this disc is for you. Interesting enough, this series is quite child friendly with no harsh language or intense adult themes... good stuff!
