D-Link Launches Smart ‘AutoZone’ Technology

Automatically connects Wi-Fi devices to the access point with the strongest Wi-Fi signal

SYDNEY, 8 September 2015: D-Link has solved the much-maligned issue of range extenders often clutching at a weak Wi-Fi signal, with the launch of its new ‘AutoZone’ Technology.

AutoZone is D-Link’s smart Wi-Fi Technology that automatically connects your devices to the access point with the strongest signal, so you’ll always get the best possible Wi-Fi no matter where you are in your home.

The new DMG-112A Wireless USB Range Extender is D-Link’s first AutoZone-enabled extender and works best when paired with the DSL-2877AL Dual Band Wireless AC750 VDSL/ADSL Modem Router. As an added bonus to celebrate the launch of AutoZone, D-Link have teamed up with JB Hi-Fi to offer an exclusive bundle, giving away a new DMG-112A AutoZone-enabled Wireless USB Range Extender free with every purchase of specially marked DSL-2877AL Dual Band Wireless AC750 VDSL/ADSL Modem Router’s – for a limited time and while stocks last.

D-Link MD Graeme Reardon said, “The DSL-2877AL is ideal for people looking for a mid-range Wireless AC750 ADSL/VDSL Modem Router and now that it is bundled with a free DMG-112A AutoZone-enabled Wireless USB Range Extender, it makes for an even more appealing proposition as AutoZone technology allows wireless devices to roam and automatically connect to the strongest Wi-Fi signal every time.”

Reardon added, “This also means users won’t have to wait while your phone, tablet, laptop or mobile device re-connects each time you move in and out of stronger signal zones throughout your home. In a nutshell, AutoZone technology seamlessly moves your devices between the strongest Wi-Fi signals available throughout the home, without you doing a thing. The DMG-112A Wi-Fi Range Extender provides a simple to use, highly efficient way to roam about your home with worry-free Wi-Fi.”

D-Link’s DSL-2877AL ADSL/VDSL Modem Router can be used with an ADSL, VDSL, or NBN connection to provide lightning fast Internet speeds. Combine this with AC750 Wi-Fi speeds, and the DSL-2877AL is a well-priced entry level Wireless AC Modem Router that still boasts all the key features including ADSL, VDSL and NBN support, but also a USB port that will accept a range of popular 3G/4G USB Modems or 3G/4G USB Dongles to provide Mobile failover to ensure users are always connected – a particularly helpful feature for businesses.
