Good Luck Chuck

Good Luck Chuck begins with 10-year old Charlie Logan who breaks the cardinal rule of spin-the-bottle and refuses to kiss a strange and quirky Goth girl at a party. Angered by his unwillingness to participate, this girl places a hex on our unlucky hero in love. Fast forward twenty-five years later and Charlie (Dane Cook) is a successful dentist, however his love life is still cursed.

Charlie's best Stu (Dan Fogler), pursues as many of his patients as possible, however Charlie can’t seem to find the right girl. Even worse, he discovers at an ex-girlfriend’s wedding that every woman he’s ever slept with has found true love with the next guy after him.

Before he knows it, Charlie’s reputation as a “good luck charm” has women from sexy strangers to his overweight receptionist lining up for a quickie, hoping to find their soul mate. But a life filled with all sex and no love has Charlie lonelier than ever, that is, until he meets Cam (Jessica Alba), an accident-prone penguin specialist.

Eventually a romance blossoms between the two but Charlie realizes he’s got to find a way to break his good-luck curse before the girl of his dreams winds up with the next guy she meets. A hilarious comedy about the luckiest and unluckiest guy on earth in this comedy that is not for the light hearted viewer! It's all about one-liners, political incorrectness and some truly amusing scenes that puts Something About Mary to shame.

The Blu-ray video quality of Good Luck Chuck is exceptionally clear with vibrant colours, rich black levels and a quality that is unparallel. With a 7.1 uncompressed mix, Good Luck Chuck has some exceptionally high quality sound quality that unfortunately due to the movie is not really appreciated. Featuring a plethora of special features such as the "Sex-Matrix" multi-angle featurette and some extremely entertaining audio commentary, this is one Blu-ray disc that has it all.

Special Features:

  • Uncut version of the film containing additional footage not seen in cinemas

  • Audio commentary by director Mark Helfrich, producer Mike Karz, screenwriter Josh Stolberg and star Dane Cook

  • Never-before-seen Deleted Scenes

  • "The Real Life Good Luck Chuck" - behind-the-scenes featurette on the inspiration behind the movie

  • 6 additional featurettes on the making of the movie

  • Blooper Reel

  • "Sex-Matrix" multi-angle featurette

  • "Ad Libs" featurette
