Summary: BLiTZWOLF Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Earphone provides some good audio and subtle noise cancellation at an affordable price.

3.5

Good value!

We checked out the very affordable BLiTZWOLF Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Earphones which is perfect for those that don’t want to be trapped by cords and this device gives you that freedom. It’s also compatible with any device that uses Bluetooth which does make streaming your favourite audio tracks a breeze.

However before we get into the review, let’s check out the specifications of the BLiTZWOLF BW-ANC16

Model: BW-ACN1
Charging Time: approx 2 hours
Standbiy Time: approx 240 hours
Operation Range:: 10m
Music Time: 5 to 7 hours
Battery Capacity: 3.7v 120mAh
Battery Type: Li-Ion

In terms of setting up the BLiTZWOLF Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Earphone, it comes with an instruction manual in order to pair it with your Bluetooth device (e.g. your smartphone) and the first step is to hold the volume+ button for 2 seconds which starts the pairing process.

You then need to find the device through you Bluetooth devices and once you have selected BW-ANC1, it will automatically connect and finalise the pairing process. That’s it! We also tested this product on our Samsung Galaxy S9 and our Fitbit Ionic and we had no issues whatsoever when it came to pairing or listening to music.

The developers ensure that this device comes with everything you need from a case to a charger and even different ear tips to ensure a comfortable fit. Although not the nicest looking wireless earphones on the market, the dongle which powers this device has the active noise cancelling technology built into this little square and it even has a clip to attach it to your clothes. However when running I did find that the earphones did sound a little on the echo side.

On the front of the dongle, there are three buttons that include Volume- on the left, the MFB (multi-function button) in the middle and Volume+ on the right. The MFB performs a variety of functions such as answering a call, ignoring a call, redialing the last number, muting the microphone and skipping music tracks.

Also next to the microUBS connector which is covered by a rubber flap, there is the Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) button. By enabling this feature, it activates the active noise cancellation technology and the LED will turn white to indicate that it is on. Given the design of the dongle, I found navigating this product a little difficult, especially the location of the tiny buttons and more often than not, I was looking at the device to see what I was doing.

In terms of power, there is an LED on the bottom of the dongle which will blink red when the battery is becoming low and while charging it will remain on red and will turn blue once fully charged. To charge, there is a small microUSB connector on the left side of the unit and the charging process takes about 2 hours.

Where this product does shine is through the audio quality which produces crisp, clear sounds with some good levels, even a touch of bass. Given the price of these earphones, the quality of the audio was rather impressive. The only slight let down for me was the noise cancelling technology which did work, although quite subtle. However in a crowded airport, on a plane or in a gym, it does help reduce some of that background sound.

Final Thoughts?

The BLiTZWOLF Active Noise Cancelling Wireless Earphone provide some great value for money which very good audio through Bluetooth and some subtle noise cancelling technology.
