Announcing the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Private Multiplayer and Blackout Betas!

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will be released worldwide on October 12, but eager fans will have a chance to spend some early hands-on time with Multiplayer in August through the Private Multiplayer Beta, and with Blackout through a Private Blackout Beta coming in September.

The Private Multiplayer Beta kicks off on August 4th in ANZ, first on PlayStation 4, followed the next weekend by the Xbox One and PC. Then in September, a brand-new, uniquely Black Ops battle royale experience comes to life in a first-ever hands-on with our new mode, Blackout, first on PlayStation 4.

So, let’s get to it – on the Multiplayer front, here’s what you need to know:

  • PlayStation 4 (Starts: August 4 at 3am/AEST – Ends: August 7 at 3am/AEST)
  • PlayStation 4 and Xbox One (Starts: August 11 at 3am/AEST – Ends: August 14 at 3am/AEST)
  • PC Beta Early Access (Starts: August 11 at 3am/AEST) *PC exclusively on Battle.Net
  • PC Open Beta (Starts: August 12 at 3am/AEST – Ends: August 14 at 3am/AEST)

As we get closer to September, we’ll share more information about what you can expect from the Private Blackout Beta, first on PS4 – for now, we wanted you to know that it was on the way.
