Acer Powers Intel® Extreme Masters, Season 12 with Predator range

Acer Australia and New Zealand has been announced as the official gold partner and provider of desktop PCs and notebooks for Intel® Extreme Masters globally. The partnership highlights Acer’s position as the leader in premium gaming devices with its Predator range being the chosen products for the biggest eSports tournament in the world – Intel® Extreme Masters.

For those who want to take it to the next level and for those who want a peek beyond the horizons of gaming, the Predator range has the capabilities to support every type of gamer and whatever their needs are. Whether they need a portable device that can keep cool under pressure, or whether they’re competing at the biggest global eSports tournament and need a device that packs a powerful punch, the Predator is the number one choice for gamers.

Kicking Season 12 off in Sydney, Acer will have a number of Predator products being showcased at the event, with IEM attendees presented with the opportunity to witness the highly-anticipated Predator 21 X in action as it makes its first Australian debut. The Predator 21 X will be showcased at the Acer Stand in the Lounge Area where people will have the chance to score some hands on time with the ultimate gaming device and see two of its key features in action.

The Predator 21 X is the world’s first notebook with a curved screen and delivers a truly immersive gaming experience, especially when combined with the notebook’s eye-tracking technology from Tobii.

The Predator 21 X notebook also features an advanced cooling architecture consisting of 5 system fans (including 3 ultra-thin AeroBlade™ metal fans) and 9 heat pipes. It includes Acer DustDefender, which removes dust build-up and improves heat dissipation, and Acer’s CoolBoost app, that can be used to adjust the fans’ airflow to deliver extra cooling performance during heavy use, all at display at the Acer stand at Intel® Extreme Masters.

In addition to Acer’s partnership with IEM Sydney, Acer has announced their latest partnership with Australian eSports organisation – Abyss Esports Club.  Since its inception in 2015, Abyss has grown significantly with one of the best League of Legends, Rocket League and Paladins team. Abyss’ League of Legends team will be at the Acer Stand on Saturday and Sunday sharing their pro-tips at the Predator Academy.
